My take on goals is:

  • The bigger and crazier, the better.
  • I set reasonable goals and achieve them.

  • To think about the things that can go wrong.
  • To think about the benefits of completing the task.

When someone stands in the way of my goal:

  • I assume the goal wasn't meant to be and choose another goal.
  • I find a way to work around the obstacle.
  • I get angry at the person standing in my way and move onto something else.

When I look at someone else that has achieved a goal that I want to achieve:

  • I compare myself to them, I try to be realistic and determine if they have traits that I don't have.
  • I figure if I model them and their process, that I will succeed.

When someone gives me a compliment:

  • I accept the compliment and say thank you. (I love compliments).
  • I make a self-deprecating comment about myself.
  • I feel uncomfortable and don't know what to say.

When making a decision:

  • I make it quickly and decisively
  • I learn everything I can possibly learn before making a decision.
  • I put off making a decision for as long as possible.
