Paying bills. Taking out the garbage. Walking the dog. Grocery shopping.
Doing all of these things makes it very easy to exist but make it very hard to actually go anywhere.
So many people in this world just shuffle around doing only the bare minimum that it takes to survive and lead an ordinary life.
No less. No more.
That’s what happens when you have no goals. And trust me… ordinary isn’t fun. It’s safe. But not fun.
When you fall into the trap of engaging in the same routine day in and day out a little part of you dies each and every day. As Forest Gump’s mama always said, “Get busy livin’ or get busy dyin’.”
Do yourself a favor… Dare to be different. Dare to take a different path than your family or friends take. Don’t let their negative opinions of you taking the unknown path affect you. You’ll be surprised at what you might find.
Actually, you WILL be surprised at what you DO find.
